HWaaS: Disk Replacement Automation Designed and implemented infrastructure components to fully automate disk replacement workflows by automatically creating Jira tickets for DC engineers, eliminating manual ticket creation by SREs. The solution was built as part of a Kubernetes operator. Implemented a safety mechanism that disables disk auto-replacement when unexpected or anomalous monitoring behavior is detected. The system has replaced 1,000+ failed disks across 4+ regions, primarily serving YDB and an in-house S3-compatible object storage. Delivered substantial changes to the operator’s gRPC API and performed CRD migrations to support the new automation logic. Coordinated with SREs and managers on failure scopes, rollout priorities, and regional coverage. Implemented comprehensive monitoring and alerting. golang, kubebuilder
HWaaS: Automated Delivery Designed and implemented an automated build and release process for the HWaaS service in Kubernetes, managing a set of tightly coupled Kubernetes resources. Adopted a GitOps-based approach, making releases faster, reversible, and transparent for other developers. kubernetes, teamcity, timoni, helm, argocd, argo workflows
Dubformer: Media Processing Backend Designed and implemented machine translation and text-to-speech microservices and integrated them into the automatic video translation pipeline. Developed REST APIs for individual services and for the pipeline as a whole. python, airflow, fastapi, mongodb, aws sqs, aws s3
Dubformer: Infrastructure Engineering Built monitoring and alerting that made backend behavior and load visible via dashboards and enabled fast incident response through messenger notifications. Implemented CI/CD pipelines and optimized build and test stages, reducing total pipeline time from 60 to 10 minutes. docker, github pipelines, grafana, prometheus

Software Engineer
November 2020 - August 2023 (2 years 10 months) Moscow, Moscow City, Russia
Speed and Memory Benchmarking Service Designed and implemented an internal service for benchmarking inference speed and memory consumption of computer vision models developed in the R\&D department. Exposed a REST API and built CLI and SDK interfaces on top of it. Proactively collected feedback and drove adoption across multiple teams, including object detection, face recognition, and license plate recognition, significantly reducing research iteration time. python, celery, postgresql, rabbitmq
Data Labeling Pipelines Developed Airflow pipelines to automate data labeling workflows for image classification tasks in the R\&D department. python, airflow, yandex toloka
NSFW Image Classification Developed an NSFW content detection model that outperformed open-source alternatives on both public and my internally created benchmarks. Deployed the model to customer infrastructure. python, pytorch, pytorch lightning, torchserve, albumentations
Falling People Detection Developed a falling-people detection model using a domain-adapted neural network on top of an open-source skeletal pose extraction model, achieving a high true acceptance rate at an extremely low false acceptance rate. Owned the full lifecycle from data collection and labeling to product integration. python, pytorch, tensorrt, openvino
Acceleration of the Facial Recognition Model Accelerated the GPU face recognition model by 10\% without accuracy loss by applying advanced neural architecture search techniques to identify an optimal backbone. python, pytorch
